My award-winning play,
PRECONCEPTION is the classic love
story of Sperm meets Egg, Egg
repels Sperm, but Sperm
perseveres and wins her heart,
Preconception has delighted
audiences throughout the United
States and, in 2011,
internationally.

The play originally starred
Alexander Horstmann and Chelsey
Panisch (seen in the video) in the
winning Festival performance at
Players' Theatre on March 16,
2008 directed by Preston Boyd. In
2009, Dylan Jones and Clio Mason
(shown below) performed the
roles during "Three by Three" for
two consecutive weekends at
Crocker Memorial Church in
Sarasota.
PRECONCEPTION was published
as part of Theatre Odyssey's
anthology of plays, SARASOTA'S
TEN-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL,
2005-2009.
Directed by Phillip Brooks,
PRECONCEPTION
advanced to the Finals in
July 2011 as part of the
2011 Auckland, New
Zealand Short & Sweet
Theatre Festival.  The
production starred
Catherine Boniface and
Grae Burton (LEFT).
PRECONCEPTION was performed
at the 3rd Biennial (2010)
Directing Shorts Festival at
Florida Southern College.
Directed by Jessica Barlow, the
production starred Chris Rigolini
and Dakota Thurow as Sperm
and Egg (seen rehearsing in the
photo to the right).
Directed by Deborah Mulhall
and starring Amelia Tranter
and Vincent Andriano
(RIGHT),
PRECONCEPTION
 completed a five-day run
on January 30th, 2011 in
Sydney, Australia before
advancing to the Finals on
March 11 and 12th.

My special thanks to all the many wonderful
people involved with the
Short & Sweet
Festival. They make the half of a world's
distance feel like a bus ride across town. I
only wish I could have met them in person.
